(1) Transformers: Dark of the Moon claimed victory all over the globe in its weekend opening. Breaking all sorts of records for Fourth of July weekend, and becoming the largest opening of 2011.

(2) Tom Hanks says that Toy Story 4 will happen.

(3) America Ferrera married Ryan Piers Williams.

(5) Jeff Probst, host of Survivor, to get his own talk show.

(6) Joel Courtney, of Super 8, and Jake T. Austin, of Wizards of Waverly Place, are set to play Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn in the new adaptation of the Mark Twain classic.

(7) After announcing the return of Fear Factor, NBC also announced that Joe Rogan will return for hosting duties.

(8) Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish will be joining Law & Order: SVU in the wake of Christopher Meloni leaving, and Marishka Hargitay taking on a lesser role.

(9) Jonathan Rhys Meyers was hospitalized after possible suicide attempt. He was later released.

(10) Glenn Beck said goodbye to his T.V. audience.

(11) Maria Shriver filed for divorce  from Arnold Schwarzenegger.

(12) POTC: On Stranger Tides passes the $1 billion mark globally. 8th movie to do so. Slowly but surely working its way up the list. Break a lot of other records.
