WWE issued the following statement:
- STAMFORD, Conn. In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde (Sin Cara) for 30 days for his first violation of the company's policy.
No word on what exactly Sin Cara violated but WWE.com updated Sin Cara's storyline future with a recent article on their website:
Sin Cara's injury occured during SmackDown's Money in the Bank match, when Sheamus viciously powerbombed the masked marvel from the ring apron through a steel ladder. The impact was so devastating that Sin Cara was quickly stretchered to the back by paramedics. Early medical reports have concluded that the high-flying Superstar has suffered a posterior fractured rib and will be out of action for at least four weeks.
